During my internship, I aim to develop a deeper understanding of how institutional financial markets operate, mainly in areas like portfolio management and risk analysis. As a Computer Science and Financial Technology student I am interested in learning how all the financial concepts I have learned apply in the real world. I have worked on time series analysis using the ARIMA model, volatility modelling using the GARCH model and studied pricing frameworks such as the Black Scholes model and I look forward to learning how these concepts are implemented and adapted by professionals in the field. I also have experience in production level backend development and I would like to see how such systems support financial and investment operations. Overall, I hope to strengthen my understanding of how both finance and technology, and learn from the best in the field through this opportunity.
